I have a bunch of Windows Media Videos on my PC at home and would like to be able to watch some of the shorter ones on my IPOD VIDEO. Any way of doing this without repurchasing through ITunes?

There are video converters you can download depending on the file type. If you search for ipod video converter you'll get quite a few results that'll help. Some free, some not so free. Just verify the file extension of what you have with whatever the program you try supports and you should be good to go.
Oh... and typically the converters will just convert the file, you'll still have to open the folder the file is in and drag the file into iTunes to add it to your library and sync.
