I want to learn to make fashion accessories. What would I need, and how would I do it?

Question by angellove21: I want to learn to make fashion accessories. What would I need, and how would I do it?
I was wondering how difficult it would be to make fashion accessories such as belts, bracelets, etc. (perhaps even how one would do rhinestones and similar detailing) and what I would need to go about doing that. Any information would be helpful. Suggested Books and online references would be a plus.

oooh! goodie! I love the fact that you are being unique and making your own jewelery! Don't worry its really easy to do and here is a list of supplies that you will need to do so... and a website that sells cheap inexpensive but quality items to do so!;
~a set of pliers... they often have beading pliers at places like michaels or joanns
~jump rings in various sizes from one inch and smaller
~tiger tail wire (for necklaces and bracelets)
~Crimp Tubes
~Closures
~head pins and eye pins (for earrings and to make pendants)
~if you want, stretchy cord
~earring findings (findings is just the fancy word beaders use for equiptment you need other than beads)
~and of course BEADS~~~

for books... i like BEADING BASICS by.. caroline ________ i cant remember who... sorry.. it has blue beads all over the white cover

you can get all these supplies at your local craft or bead store
i think michaels has a great selection for beginners :)
